What word would you associate with "souvenir" and "pizza"? Maybe "Italy"?
In the party co-op One Round?, each card falls into a specific space in the circle of words. Think of a good clue that lets your teammates guess where the word goes. Can you get the cards in their places before the clock expires?
In each round, one player is responsible for giving a clue. To do this, they draw the top card from the central deck and secretly look at it. This card will show a number from 1 to 99; then, they must think of a word that will allow the other players to guess the card's exact location among the other cards already placed and the initial cards. The clue given by the active player must combine the two concepts that would be on either side of it in the circle. For example, the active player draws a card with a number that must be placed between two cards that show the words "cake" and "fruit." A good clue could be "sweet."
If the players guess the card's location correctly, the game continues until 12 cards have been placed. But if they guess incorrectly, they lose one of their three lives and must place a new card in the central deck. Once everyone understands how to play, you can add tension to the turns by using the hourglass and using the "extra time" mode, which adds tension to the game by reducing the time to think of words and decide the location of a card.
Every game of 'One Round?' is unique, as the content evolves in different (and often completely unexpected) ways. Ideal for both large and small groups, for playing with adults or even children, experts or beginners, 'One Round?' offers one of those challenges that will have you playing game after game.
