Legacy of Eastbrook Hills is a game of investigation set in our own gloomy but mystical world. The story takes place over five scenarios that are linked together. You’ll take a variety of different actions to investigate the world around you—questioning residents, exploring sites, and observing your surroundings. All of these actions help unlock more mysteries, but you only have a limited amount of time. Most actions cost time, a shared resource for your group. You must carefully plan and decide which actions your group will take. Will you venture forth together, or split up and leave yourselves exposed?
The dialogue mechanic lets you question residents of the town about different mysteries as you uncover them. Flip the corresponding cards to reveal new secrets or possible dead ends. A good investigator may uncover the mysteries of Eastbrook Hills, but only the best can make it out alive.
